So Tell Me…

So Tell Me…

How often do you say things to yourself that questions your ability?

How often do you compare yourself to others and believe you’re less than in some way?

How often do you criticize yourself without fully realizing it?

Do you know the impact this negative self-talk has on you?

Well I want you to start paying closer attention to how you to talk to yourself.

So ask yourself this…

Would you speak to a 3 year old that way? Would you speak to your grandma that way?

My guess is no.

One of my favorite days of the year is right around the corner. Valentine’s Day. An entire day dedicated to love! How cool is that?

So how about loving up on yourself? Not for just one day, but everyday!

This year I want you to devote…

giving yourself compassion.

encouraging yourself.

supporting yourself.

nurturing yourself with loving kindness.

and doing SharQui! (wink wink, I really mean it though)

Hey, you can do anything and you are enough!

Pinky promise.

You’ve got this gorgeous!!

Happy Valentine’s Year,
Oreet

  1. Thanks, Oreet! I refuse to continue comparing myself with other dancers. As musician India Arie said, “Your real job in the world is to be you.”

  2. Thank you Oreet, we all need to be encouraged, I know we can be hard on ourselves. We need to do positive self talk & not negative. You are the best.
