Mat Core Foundations
What makes modern Fusion unique? The blending of different styles where you can adapt what you already know. How? By breaking moves down to their fundamental components and changing where you accent the music. Play with micro movements using tension and release to bring intensity and elegance to your piece.
Kaimera (Kai) has been a practitioner of Modern Fusion Belly Dance for 10 years. He has primarily studied with Troupe Leader and Producer Naimah and dances in her troupe, Amandari. He has taken spot workshops with many different teachers over the years, and fuses concepts of movement through the lens of his martial arts experience. He has been a student of American Kenpo Karate for 28 years, and uses his own unique background to embody strength, elegance and precision through movement.

SharQui Workout: Our traditional high-energy bellydance inspired workout.
SharQui 2: Our traditional high-energy dance workout but kicked up a notch with intricate moves as well as speed.
SharQui Styles: Our traditional high-energy dance workout but fused with an inspiration of another dance genre. Each week will be a new dance style fusion.
Core & Stability: This cross training class combines light weights and Pilates mat exercises with dance movement, all focused on strengthening the abdominals and back for SharQui.
Strength & Mobility: This is traditional strength training class with weights and cardio. A great way to cross train your dance practice!
Stretch & Restore: End your week with a deep stretch class that incorporates standing and floor positions to open and lengthen the muscles from all angles. A wonderful and important compliment to our SharQui program to help you stay flexible, injury and pain free.
Monthly Pop-Up: This 60 min, monthly pop-up class is all about dialing in one specific focus at a time. Each month we switch it up – technique, drills, musicality, strength, choreography, props, etc.
Crash Choreo: Learn a 1-2 minute choreography that gets your heart rate up.
