Tirra Hargrow is a spiritual guide, Feminine Freedom & Success coach, and founder of the Inspired Goddess Community.  She is a priestess and a certified master women’s circle acilitator and astrologer. She helps women move from being stuck in lack and limitations to powerfully aligning with their life purpose using astrology, ancient wisdom and modern tools such as hypnosis and NLP. When she isn’t working, she enjoys empty nester life with her husband and taking African and Bellydance classes.

Zills, Drills…and Jill!

Did you know that bellydancers are musicians too? Playing finger cymbals (also known as zills or sagat/zagat) is a quintessential part of raqs sharqi that has sadly fallen out of trend the past few decades.
Let’s bring back this historical instrument!
Jill will teach you exercises to strengthen your hand and body movement coordination, break down the technique of the 4 basic zill sounds, and go over the  most commonly played rhythm patterns. 
*Finger Cymbals required for this workshop

SharQui Workout: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout.

SharQui 2: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but kicked up a notch with intricate moves as well as speed.

SharQui Veil: A traditional SharQui Workout infused with safe veil technique. Enhance your workout from the added upper body toning. Veil is optional as options for students without veils will be provided. Newbie to experienced friendly.

SharQui Styles: Our traditional high-energy bellydance workout but fused with an inspiration of another dance genre. Each week will be a new dance style fusion.

SharQui Strength: Your traditional Sharqui Workout paired with light weights.  

SharQui Core: This cross training class combines light weights and Pilates mat exercises with bellydance movements, all focused on strengthening the abdominals and back for SharQui.

Crash Choreo: Learn a 1-2 minute choreography that gets your heart rate up.

Total Body Strength: This is traditional strength training class with weights and cardio. A great way to cross train your bellydance practice!

Stretch: Start and end your week with a deep stretch class that incorporates standing and floor positions to open and lengthen the muscles from all angles. A wonderful and important compliment to our SharQui program to help you stay flexible,  injury and pain free.

SW Instructor Shuffle: Our high-energy bellydance workout with a twist! Shuffle your routine and keep things exciting with a new instructor every week!
